iPad App in Flash

Hey guys,

I hope someone can help me out. I have to create an iPad App for a project at university and I'm not that familiar with AS3. I've heard that it's possible to program apps with CS 5.5. Is that true? Is it also possible with CS5?

And can anyone give me some tips for starting programming an app for the iPad? I've only done screen design so far, no programming. So I need some common transitions of the iPad, like slide and multitouch gestures. Maybe there is a library or such? Or an easier tool than AS3...

Thanks a lot your support

To create apps for iOS (ipod touch, iphone and iPad) you need pay to apple 100 dolars to join to the developers program, then you can get a certificate to compile aplications.

You need Flash CS5.5 or Flash CS6.

Maybe you can find some templates for slide and multitouch or use the code snippets.

Okay great thanks. But what about being a student? I've downloaded XCode for another project so I think the developer account is free for students isn't it?

And which format is the app compiled by flash than?

Templates would really be great. I don't have a lot of time (two weeks left) and can only program easy things like button states or such right now...I don't think I would be able to code multitouch gestures But the thing is: I have to...

You need the certificate to compile

http://developer.apple.com/programs/ios/university/

you need a student team registered.

With Flash you can compile a ipa file, ready to use in the iPad.

You can use the trial of Flash CS6 and use the templates
