Issue with graphics tablet mapping when opening a file

For starters, I use a Wacom Intuos art graphics tablet and have a dual monitor set up.

When I open animate the tablet is mapped to one screen but as soon as I either open or create a new file the mapping is set to both screens.

I have reinstalled animate and updated my drivers for Wacom and my graphics card, restarting my pc several times. But the issue persists.

I have no clue what else I could do, any help will be really appreciated. This is really infuriating.

If there's anything thing that seems vague or I missed out I'm happy to answer in the comments.
