Hey Guys!
In every two year i try to start to convert my interactive, swf, photography materials to HTML5... becose everybody is killing flash, becouse everbody is cheering HTML5.
Today is the day... i opened a fairly simple .fla file, than i created a new canvas document, i copy pasted some keyframes to the canvas from the old actionscript.
ANNNND!!!
It deleted ALLLL of my effects on the movie clips, text...saying it is "not supported in canvas"
we are in 2017... with css code you can do magic things....
My question: why telling me the Animate CC that drop shadow is not supported?!? Is it really not supported??!?
(every filter effect is inactive in canvas/text/properities)
Or just i made some mistake somehow?!?
Somebody please help or im going to be cause disturbance in the force!
Ben
you can't add filters to non-objects. convert the text to a movieclip.

drop shadow works in canvas, but it may not be able to convert a drop shadow from whatever you're starting with and automatically convert that to a drop shadow in canvas.
