JavaScript error after converting .fla to html

New Here ,
Apr 25, 2019 Apr 25, 2019

Hey everyone.

I've been working on an animation and attempted to export it to html, but when I did the program caused an error and I had to close it. Now whenever I try to open the file at all I get a error that reads 'File cannot be opened' and when I close that I get another one that tells me a 'Javascript error has occurred'.

Additionally, a RECOVERY file has appeared in the same folder, but it is 0 kb and when I try and open that it just returns the same errors.

Does anyone have any idea how to recover my file? Thanks for any help.

Hi jelenan

If you are on Windows there's this trick with WinRAR. I've never tried it, but I stumble upon it time and time again when it's about recovering corrupted FLA files.

How to recover damaged or corrupt files Adobe Flash

Apparantly WinRAR is also available for MacOS. If needed here's a link: Download WinRAR for Mac 5.70 - FileHippo.com

Good luck
