Allo, i hope i don't get in trouble for asking this but i wasn't really sure where i could, this is the only animation support forum and i can't really ask this on "Contact Us" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Anyways, I wanted to know if there was a way for me to get the old Flash 8 on an iMac (I know it WAS possible a while ago). So far my search results haven't bared any fruit so I came here. I have Animate CC, which is good, but I want to collaborate with other people using Flash 8, and I don't want to make it complicated for them when compiling all the entries (8's AS2 and CC's AS3 don't like each other i suppose). And personally, I just felt more comfortable with 8.
So, can it be done?

As far as I know, Flash 8 is no longer available for download from Adobe. If you already have Flash 8 installed, you can use the link provided by Ankush for updating it.
I searched for sites offering downloads, and found a few. I am however, not sure of their authenticity, so not listing them here. Also, considering the number of years that have elapsed since the software version was introduced, it is unlikely that you will be able t

You may go ahead and try installing it, however, we can't commit about its compatibility with your current operating system.
