Main and second timeline

Hey guys, I've a question.

In my project I created a character and converted him to movie-clip symbol (main-timeline). Then I divided the char in different parts: head, body, arms, etc... Every part is a picture symbol, while the head  is a movie-clip symbol (second-timeline) with inside other picture symbol like mouth, eyelids, pupils, etc..

In this moment I finished to work on "head" timeline managing lips and eyes. And now I can work on body and arms movment in main-timeline. But I have a problem, because all head movments managed earlier in the second-timeline aren't visible on main-timeline.

So, my question is: Can I do the results of the second-timeline visible also on the main-timeline?

Hi.

If the output is a video, try to use only Graphic symbols because they are synced to the parent's timeline.

This means that you will be able to preview the animation in author time and you'll also be able to export to non-interactive formats like video and GIFs without problems or hacks.

Regards,

JC

yes.

every symbol (with a timeline) that's added to the main timeline will display when the main timeline plays (during testing or publishing).  if the symbol is a graphic symbol it will also play when scrolling or playing the main timeline in the test environment.

Thank you all for the answers. And more, to make it work it needs to set correctly the first and the last frame clicking on symbol (head in my case) and editing the values on the window to the right. Maybe this way it can appear confusing, but it's easier done than said.
