Maintain Size (Layer Depth)

The "Maintain size" option for layer depth doesn't seem to do anything, regardless if I toggle on or off. I'm on a keyframe and have changed the depth number for the layer. The size of the artwork changes and I don't want it to. What might I be doing wrong?

Thanks,

RR

You have to click maintain size each time you change layer depth or a layer. So perhaps you are only clicking it the first time? Hard to say, otherwise.

Thanks for the suggestion.  So far, it seems like I've tried a number of combination without success.

Is there a specific order that the tasks need to be completed?

For example...

  1. Set a keyframe on the desired layer.
  2. Open the Layer Depth window.
  3. Select the desired layer.
  4. Change the depth number.
  5. Click on the Maintain Size option.
