Currently animating a mask to reveal another layer. When I adjust the tweening of the mask to ease in and out, it shows up within Animate CC's preview, but not after I publish and open in a browser. There is no easing of the mask at all.

Are you using an ease other than Classic? It looks like non-Classic eases indeed do not work in Canvas mode. This should be filed as a bug.

I just tested it in the latest version of Animate cc and it seems to work.

Do you have the latest update?

Are you building this in an Actionscript 3.0 template or HTML5 canvas template?

Thank you Nick, but unfortunately it is still not working.

I am updated to the newest version and am building in an HTML5 canvas template, so I don't know wha the problem is.

All other objects will ease, but only masks will not.

Are you saying "ease" when you really mean "tween"? No easing means the rate of change in position remains constant as the mask moves. No tweening means the mask isn't animated at all.

I mean that the tween is working, but it will not ease.

Yeah, I was trying to use a different type of ease. I'll file it as a bug! Thanks for checking on your end and for your help.

I used a Quad EaseIn and Quad EaseOut on a Shape Tween and they both seemed to work on a mask in Canvas mode when I publish them. Or have I missed something? I'm publishing to Chrome.

Shape tweens work correctly. Classic tweens do not.

Ah right, get ya. I thought it was Classic Ease being mentioned in the Tween Easing drop down menu. No worries.
