Merge Animation

Hello! I animated a shape using the bone tool after double clicking on the shape. When I click out of it, I can't see the animation anymore. How do I merge it into the main timeframe? Thanks in advance!

is the object still on your main timeline?

if yes, did you "test" (control > test movie > un browser/animate)to see your animation?

Sounds like you converted your shape to a symbol.

Then you double-clicked it and added a "nested" animation inside the symbol.

Back on the main timeline the nested animation won't play because;

1.  The symbol is a Graphic symbol with many frames but the main/parent timeline only has 1 frame.
2.  The symbol is a Movie Clip symbol which means it won't play nested timelines unless it has been published.

So if I publish it, it'll play?

If it's inside a Movie Clip it will because MC's timelines play independently of all other timelines.
If it's a Graphic symbol, it won't play if it doesn't play inside the Animate authoring environment. Graphic symbols are synced with their parent timelines and other nested timelines. 
Just click once on your symbol instance that contains the animation and tell us what it shows you in the Properties Panel.
