Hello everyone,

I am new to Animate CC and I've been tasked with a pretty large project. Trying to learn it as I go but there is one part I can not seem to figure out. If you look at the video I am linking at the 1 minute and 34 second mark the drill bends and then then a fluid runs down through it to the tip of the drill. Any advice on how to achieve this effect or a link to a tutorial that helps explain it would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance. Fracking explained: opportunity or danger - YouTube

The setup is quite tricky, but I think I got a very similar result. You can tweak time and visuals as you wish.

Download: animate_cc_drill.

JC

tween the drill bit and use a guide layer to describe the path of the drill.

the fluid appearing to move through the line to the drill and beyond can be done with a tweened mask.

Is there anyone interested in helping me with this? If someone can share an example of this working I would greatly appreciate it. This is over my head. Or maybe a tutorial that can show me how to do this?

i don't know of a tutorial (but google's the best way to search).  if you're patient someone may help you for free.

i'll create a demo now, but you'd need to hire me.  if you're interested, contact kglad99 @ gmail dot com
