Chrome doesn't display character "i" for html published in Adobe Animate CC

Recently I've made some banners with text in them using gotham font and all the "i" doesn't show up in Chrome browser using a non-retina display. I have tried other fonts with the same result. I have used a vector logo pasted in animate and this is also missing the "i". the workaround i'm using right now is putting pngs in which is really unacceptable adding K size, looking blurry on retina displays and asking the publisher to call up extra images, and most of all is very time consuming.

I repeat this is only happening on the non-retina displays only in chrome browser

I'm not alone I found this on chromes forums

I don't see how this problem uniquely affects advertisers any more than everybody else.

    It's probably this issue:

    Characters disappear after motion tween

I doesn't really but ads usually always have text in them not all animations do. So this effects just about every banner I try to produce.

I forgot to mention this effects text under 15 points. it seems 15 points or higher "i" shows up in the gotham font. I'm sure the weight and font this will vary.
