On save animate says unknown error; quiting application

Hey all,

Im having an error where on save animate says unknown error; quiting application. I've looked through other forum posts but I couldnt resolve the issue. I have reinstalled, installed in different locations, deleted preferences and installed different versions but nothing seems to work. 
Any help would be very appreciated

I think I figured out what the problem was. I needed to save as template first then it let me save

thanyou sir for this trick ,now i can save my work but i cant export it

if it's only a problem with that one particular fla (and you can export for a new fla), (slowly and methodically) copy and paste your layers into a new fla and try exporting.
