Opening Adobe Animate Issue

Every time I click the app, it opens up and crashes. I restarted my laptop, but nothing changed. But I do have access to my other Animate files. I can still edit them or make a new file. It just won't take me to the home page.

I don't have any issues with editing the Adobe Animate files. 

But every time I click on the home page, it just crashes.

what is the home page?

Supposed to show my files I edited but they are empty. Just as this pops up, a few seconds later, it crashes.

uninstall (including preferences)

restart computer 

reinstall
