Paint bucket tool not working

Ever since the "Animate" update it's broken. I drew my frames as usual and when tring to fill in the character with the paint bucket tool nothing happened. All my lines are closed, I've redrawn them countless times, nothing. If I just draw a stupid simple circle though, I can fill that in just fine.

Okay so I got it to work. It appears the drawing - all segments of it - are inside a Drawing Object. Just double-click one of the lines to enter this object. Now you can fill.

I ain't good with english but I will try to explain another possible solution. I'm new with Animate CC, however I noticed there are two lines type when we draw with the brush: normal lines and segments.

Now, you imagine drawing a circle...

- A circle drew with normal lines shape one single line that it can be filled with bucket.

- A circle drew with more segments shape separate lines. And a line can't be filled am I right?

Q) How to solve it? How convert segments to single (normal) line?

A) Open the symbol > go to inside of the symbol > select everything (CTRL+A) > right click on any segment (on image) -> Divide or CTRL+B. You can fill with bucket now.

Have a good day.

I'm having the same issue here. Im trying to draw a hood for one of my characters, and when trying to fill it in gray it won't work. I looked at the solutions but it seems the only thing that works for me is to close all gaps in the drawing and having to draw it without lifting my pen up. This just makes my hood look bad. Please fix this.
