Pencil tool issue

Why is the line like this?? I tried using the pencil tool and it always goes jagged

Hi,

Firstly, make sure Smooth is on. It looks like it might be but the Smoothing level is maybe set to Low ?

The Smooth option is in the Tools panel at the bottom when the Pencil is selected (you can have Straighten, Smooth or Ink).

When you have Smooth selected you can change the Smoothing level in the Properties panel.
