I was a long time Flash user but have been building some display banners in Animate over the past few days.
My banners were created using the HTML5 canvas, and i can view them on my computer when i publish. However, when I tried to email them to a colleague for review, they could not view the animation.
When i publish it creates both an HTML and JS files. Even when these are both present in their computer, the animation still isn't viewable.
Any help is appreciated.

The best way is to put it on a hosting server and then send the link.
Because of browser securities events do not work from local folders.

Animate actually creates a localHost server when you publish. This is why it usually works when you play from ANCC unless you have any error in your script.

I see, thanks for the insight.
Unfortunately that isn't possible in my workplace. Can i publish to another file extension while the banner is in production so my colleagues can view it and then publish to HTML5 once im ready to send it to the agency?
I assume i just send the HTML and JS files to the agency as the final product?
