Hello,
1. I animated a file (HTML5) which includes imported layers from Photoshop CC. The exported file cannot be opened from another computer. Is there anyone who knows how to fix that?
2. Even I have high disbanding single objects in my animation which is also exported in 4k, I have still bad anti-aliasing. Is there any possibility to fix that?
3. If I want to publish it on the web, can you recommend any websites as good hosts? Do I need the exported file or just the code?
Best regards
Jannik
1 Correct answer
1. what file can't be opened? the fla? the html, js, images etc?
2. don't use bitmaps, use vectors
3. i like inmotionhosting.com but you'll get lots of opinions and there are many other good hosts. yahoo is a terrible choice)
you need to upload all the files/folders except the fla

Thanks for your answer.
1. The html-File can't be opened on a other computer. Is that normal? So which files do I have to upload, so everyone can see the animation on the web?

2. I imported the Layers for the Animation directly from Photoshop. How can I use vectors? Do I have to export the pictures in a vector graphic first and after that, I can import them in Animate cc?

save your fla to a new directory and publish. everything in that directory (other than the fla), needs to be transferred with the html file.
you can convert bitmaps (from ps or elsewhere) to vectors in animate: modify>bitmap>convert to bitmap.

Ok, I published it and it worked so far. Thanks!
But I still have problems with the anti-aliasing. I converted all the pictures to bitmaps and I also tried the retrace-function, but it did not work with good results. Is there no opportunity to publish it in 4k but to code that the animation is shown in the users display resolution which is normally full hd?

oops, i goofed.
i meant convert bitmaps to vectors: modify>bitmap>trace bitmap.

Using trace bitmap has some imperfections in it. If a bitmap from Photoshop is showing bad anti-aliasing, the trace bitmap function would pick up on that, giving you a complex vector that looked as bad as the bitmap.
What is your stage size? What size is the bitmap? Would you be able to upload an example problem case somewhere for me to try?

Die Stage size is 1920x1080 Px... but I guess I know the problem now. The bitmap sizes are too low. I Thought they were all about 4000 x 4000 Px, but they are only 400 Px. Here is the link to a photoshop-file as an example.

That image is only 724x1133, but it's inside a PSD that is 12,000x3,600. That could lead to various problems.
