Quick Public exporting 3gp instead of MP4

Community Beginner ,

Hi,

In the quick publish option it says 3gp instead of MP4 and exports this tiny 3gp file. If I choose file>export video even though it says MPEG4 it still gives me a 3gp file. How can I get an MPG4 file?  Thanks!

Quick Publish will show the last settings used in File > Export > Export Media/Video.

MPEG4 is an old codec that has been broadly replaced by H.264, so if you need a standard MP4 video that can be played anywhere that is your go to format.

Try using the following preset. Once you hit "Export" once it will become the default in Quick Publish:
