Recovery file wont open

My PC crashed right after I saved but then I ignored the recovery file because I just saved it but it couldn't open it so then I tried opening the recovery file but that wouldn't work aswell.
Could anybody help me asap because I have a deadline of the 31st of December.

you can try renaming the fla's to zip's, using winrar to repair and then renaming the repaired zip's to fla's.

and learn to prevent this in the future, by frequently saving with an increasing version number appended to the file name.  periodically close and reopen the most resent version to confirm it's not corrupted.

I have tried that before but Winrar gives me an error saying "The archive is eaither unknown format or damaged"

then you're out of luck this time. you probably can't even unzip it.
