Regular Expressions in AS2

Hi,

I've just spent the last few weeks trying to find a Regular Expression class for AS2 that works.

I am validating my Regex's using Regexbuddy and when I am sure I have a regex that does what I want I paste it into my code.  However,  the classes I have found (including Jurjens Regexp class) fail at some point or another,  returning false when Regexbuddy matches the input string.

Does any one out there have a Regex class for AS2 that they can recommend and have tried and tested on a variety of input data ?  This does not need to be free,  I am willing to pay for a class that does it's job without any problems.

Thanks!

Regards

Rich

Hi Kglad,

I'm modifying an AS2 site.

Ps.  I'm fascinated by some of the snippets on your site - especially the curves and the spirograph.

you can still use as3.  just create an as3 main swf to load your as2 swf and your as3 swf.  you can use localconnection to communicate between the two.
