See the boundaries of a project while editing a movie

Hi there

I work with HTML 5 Canvas projects.

I have a grey background of the project.

When I enter in a particular movie clip to edit it I cannot see the boundaries of the project.

Is there any way to see where the project ends while in a movie clip editing?

    Hi.

    To avoid this, you must edit instances already placed on the stage - instead of editing symbols from the Library panel - and you cannot have a camera set.

      I am using the option at the top of the screen to open the MCs

      How can I edit instances only?

      You're welcome.

      Just double-click the object on stage.


      It is the same result

      I see the colour of the stage and no boundaries

      By the way if I remove the colour altogether I see only white and no boundaries ...

      a solution is to have a guide layer in the mc with a frame exactly the size of the project. like that i know where I am
