Hello everyone. I just got a brand new PC a few days ago, and I’m really having trouble opening Animate on it. Every time I try to open it, the splash screen will show for a few seconds, then it will disappear. Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

So, I got help from someone at Creative Cloud support, and it turned out my processor was the problem. I returned my computer, and got one with a better processor, so now I can use Animate. They sent me this link, which shows all the computer requirements for Animate. https://helpx.adobe.com/animate/system-requirements.html

you can always try to uninstall and reinstall.

reset your preferences

remove Win: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Animate CC <version>\ and

C\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Animate\<version>\

if you confirmed you successfully reset your preferences:

do a clean cc install:

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
restart your computer (don't skip this)
reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.
if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)
use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
