I've created an animation that contains many child movie clips. My document contains a single keyframe that contains all the child movie clips. When I play the animation, it loops endlessly, as designed. However, now I'm being asked to have the animation stop after running for 10 seconds. How can I add a single action to my single frame to tell my movie to loop for exactly 10 seconds and then to stop?

I'm using Flash CS4 and this is an AS2 file. Thanks!

You can use setInterval as a timer that can stop all of your clips.

Make an array of the clip's names and then use setInterval like this:
