This didn't happen with my last project. I have saved all my layers as symbols and connected them together. However, whenever I try to move a symbol (like the head or eyebrow) the tween distorts it like crazy and then skips back to normal at the end of the tween. I don't understand what's happening? Please help. Is this a glitch in Animate or my file?

what do you mean by, "I have saved all my layers as symbols..."?
and what do you mean by, "...and connected them together."?

I mean each layer is a bodily feature (head, eyes, mouth, torso, shoulder, arm etc) and it is all successfully parented to each appropriate body part.
I have discovered an update is available, so perhaps that is the issue.

Make sure your registration points are in the same spot for each from. If not that could be your issue.

Thanks. When you say registration points what do you mean? The anchor/hinge points for the symbols? And each from-- what do you mean by this?

Yes the anchor point. The little white dot. You have to use the transformation tool to see it.

Yeah I have them all in the right positions. It literally just distorts in the middle of the tween then snaps back to the endpoint I set on the last frame of the tween. Very frustrating!

Have you tried deleting all the frames for the tween and re-putting in the frames and trying to redo the tween see if that works?

Ok. Let me know if that works. Your animation looks pretty cool. Lol

Haha thanks man! I've just started doing these comedy sketches online, I'm new to it all, but it's going well. Really appreciate the help.
