Text being cut off buttons

Would be grateful for any help anyone can offer.  Have created a drop down menu (creating a movie symbol then inside it creating the drop down menu on the next frame)  All looks great until ran as a movie when the text then becomes cut off at the end.  I have tried making it smaller etc but no joy.  Any advice gratefully received. Thank you in anticipation Ani.

If the text fields has been created manually then just increase its width manually.. sometimes the text size changing a little bit in runtime..

Whatever the text field width is, add 5 or 10 more pixels to the value:

myText.width = myText.textWidth +10;

Thanks so much for your reply. I am sorry for my ignorance but where would I find my text width to adjust?? I have looked just cant see it anywhere. As I say apologies bit of a newbee. Thank Ani
