Tweening drawing objects

I want to tween this drawing object. They are the same drawing object, but animate doesn't let me. Is there a way to tween drawing objects without converting them to symbols?

Classic Tweens only work with Symbols.

Shape Tweens work with raw vector shapes and Drawing Objects.

I want to use drawing objects because i can freely distort them for 3D effects, which you cant do with graphics.

inside the simple is your drawing object.  distort all you want.

though you can distort symbols, too.
