Video in HTML5 Canvas not working properly in Safari

I have inserted a Video Component and a Button Component to play a video in an HTML5 Canvas document. I'm using the "Play a Video" and "Button Click Event" code snippets. It all works well in Chrome and Firefox, but in Safari I have to click the button twice to play the video. And after clicking twice, the video shows up already playing. Is there a fix for this problem in Safari?
