Question

Video starts too late after export

I have created a short Animation (15sek) in Adobe Animate and wanted to include a video. The problem: I need to export the whole thing as mp4. And for some reason, when I do that, the video starts more than two seconds too late. What could be the reason? When I export to .swf it works totally fine.

Did you ever get this resolved?

if they started the video in frame 2, it's resolved.

unfortunately that's a problem I will have quite often. And I thought I could work around by importing the fla into Adobe Animate and bring things together there. But there is another problem. Sometimes it just doesn't let me import the fla. I need to restart the computer several times then it's working again. Then again not.

I tried to contact the Adobe support chat but didn't have enough time. Only worked on the phone anyway, not in the browser (yes, pop ups allowed, tried different ones) Now it's not even working on the phone anymore.

sooooo, this all is very frustrating. We will see.

If the SWF looks fine then it may be your export settings. Make sure you're exporting the entire movie and not a frame range.

you could export your mp4 with that video and then use after effects or premiere pro to combine the video with your exported mp4.

Thats what I did in the end. But would have been nice not to use another program. Especially as in theory it's possible but doesn't seem to work properly.

Depends on where your timeline starts for your issue. But I here you to be able to use one program for everything but that's not the way Adobe Creative Cloud is setup. They want you to use all parts of their software.
