I have one issue with my project. i followed the same steps that all adobe tutorials did and when i am testing it on my browser it plays the audio. but when i am directly running exported html document(in my local hard drive where it is exported) by just double clicking on it it only plays the animation with no audio. Anyone please help how to resolve it!! i want to play animation with audio so that if i will upload it on my web server it should play with all media files there. also i noticed the change in URL in address bar in both the situations. please help

To answer the question, there is no special process. You just publish the page. If you're using Chrome for testing you'll probably run into problems since Chrome is more restrictive than other browsers when running from the local file domain.

Hi.

Some things can only be accessed/done if the page is runing on a server.

Please open the document, call the console (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + J on Chrome and Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + K on Firefox) and see if there is some error or warning regarding to security or missing asset.

Anyway, the best you can do is to always test your document from within Animate, because Animate automatically sets up a server.

And, when using the document outside of Animate, you'll have to host it on a web server or on a local server, like Xampp.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

JC
