Whenever I try to make a gradient swatch in Adobe Animate the program crashes. I've already tried to uninstall and reinstall the program, AND used the cleanup tool and restarted my computer but it didn't help. Any idea what I can do?

It crashes when I choose the colors to the gradient (I've only used two colors), or when I click on "add to swatsches"

you open the color panel

you select linear gradient

you select rgb values

you click on the color panel to select the first color

Yes I am, I've followed these steps:

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer

can you confirm the preferences removal was successful (eg, by seeing a custom setting was reset)?

if so, you're facing a laborious process or the use of a different computer.

Thanks, but I think I'm just gonna switch to Toon Boom. I've tried so many different things to fix the crashing problem, but nothing helps.

It's a known bug on Mac at this point, very annoying; have you tried rolling back to Animate 23?
