I have not seen much on drag n drop on this forum or otherwise. So I decided to post this example in case someone is interested.

I learned the howto from Martin Melendez on youTube.

(Drag And Drop (Adobe Animate HTML5) - YouTube )

I modified his example to include several items to drag, several items where to drop, a score, disabling of item drag when correct, and return to original position when wrong drop.

Hope this helps someone.

This is awesome, resdesign! Really helpful!

I sometimes want to post some snippets/templates/samples but I never know if I should to. Now I'm confident.

And these tutorials from Martin Melendez are really amazing. Learnt a lot from him.

Please keep it up!

Hey. Thanks for sharing that. I have a question:

What would be the code to allow dragging one item to multiple places?

Hello Resdesign,

Thank you very much for sharing this. I also watched the video by Martin Melendez and it was great as well.

Just wondering why we need to have a dot inside the drag items and a hitBox inside the drop item.

I tried to get it to work without them but I could not work out the coordinates. Both of those items seem superflous to me if you get the right offset.

Do you have any thoughts on this?

Kind regards,

Ron
