effect spotlight

hi everybody, i've just join in adobe community and i am new to this great community.

i wondering that anybody know about this flash?i just want to know how the spotlight and the background are moving when the cursor move over the banner, sory for the language i am not fluent in english.

that spotlight effect is made use a mask with an alpha gradient.  both the mask and background masked movieclips should have their cacheAsBitmap properties enabled.

can you explain more specific?i mean for the script, i know its use movie clip but how about the script?do you have a tutorial about that?
