Exporting HTML5 with .json

New Here ,
May 16, 2017 May 16, 2017

I am trying to create an HTML5 banner to be hosted on Switch Concepts. They have said that it should include a manifest.json file specifying the width, height and source. Is this possible with Animate CC? I found the following article which implies that this is no longer best practice and not possible: Create HTML5 Canvas documents in Animate CC

Please help! Our company are still using GIF animations and it would be good to start moving towards HTML5 and it would be good to use an Adobe product.

Although the js does include a manifest, I wouldn't say that it is what they mean. Yes, getting a sample file would be good, you could just edit what needs to be different.

BTW, I'm mostly guessing, hopefully someone who has had to deal with this before will add a comment.

Could you create one by hand?

Hi Colin, thanks for the reply.

This is all quite new to me, but I was sort of gravitating towards that solution too. I wouldn't really know where to start; I guess if Switch can send me an example that would help? I guess it would be too easy to simply rename the .js to .json?

Thanks again.
