Are you talking about Indepent Game developers or AAA-Game companys?
I only know of Valve that is publicly trying to move to Linux. And that is more steam-related than it has to do with their game developing stuff.

yes, I talk about indie dev's and other dev's who started to publish their games on linux at least via steam.
what about valve, they plan to launch their own game console which is linux based and they work on porting on all of their products to linux, so - this is a big move.
in my opinion this is already a serious motivation

I've also forgot to say that there are a lot of kickstarter-game-projects which plan to bring their games to linux

I´m a little confused so, what you mean with Runtime, because the flasplayer and AIR for Linux exist.
Do you mean Flash Pro, the Authoring tool?

I mean only flashplayer and air
yes, they exist but very outdated
latest version is present only in google's chrome as pepper plugin, which is pretty bugy
also compilers and sdk, new versions are released only for mac and win, which is sad.. 😞

Obviously there is a hack to get even the Unreal 3 Engine/Flash demo running with OpenGL under Linux.
But I don`t know if its buggy, and yes AIR seems stuck at Version 2.6 for Linux. But I honestly don`t know what -besides the TouchEvents and some mobile targeted stuff- Air 3.5 would make vbastly superior to 2.6

wow, that hack looks very nice
what about air 3.5, I agree but once it's compiled with superior version it would not run on older runtime, so .. it's sad 😐
