How to Align Object 1 to Center of Object 2 without Moving Object 2?

Is this possible with the align panel or only by drag snapping one object to another?

Thanks!

It looks like just snapping works. You would want View/Snapping/Snap to Objects.

This reminds me, I've been meaning to submit a bug/feature request regarding the essentially random behavior of the align function when used with two objects. Sometimes it moves A to B, sometimes B to A, with no consistent logic to it.

Thanks Clay!

For the last 17 years Flash has always seemed buggy to me...:0)

The Align one object to another object works with left, right, bottom & top, if Animate's logic is used. ie. whichever object is further left will stay put when align to left is used.
