Movie Clip Stacking Exporting Problem

I have been trying to extract some of my old animation into PNG sequences. When I made my animation I stacked movie clips for example the character itself is a movie clip, but the helmet of the character is a movie clip as well as the cape. So when I try to export my animation as a png sequence I am able to extract the character itself as a png sequence, but the helmet and the cape will not be animate in the images. If I try to copy and paste the capes animation into the characters movie clip it shrinks and distorts. I really don't know what to do and it is quite frustrating as I have hundreds of animation made this way. Does anyone have a solution for at least a way to bypass my problem?

It does help, but there is still one more issue. When I was exporting as a PNG sequence just like you did the GIF above, it did not play the animation of the helmet strap swaying. If you view the .SWF file in the link above you will see it. I also tried the exporting it as a video which worked! When I put it into Adobe Media Converter to convert it into a PNG Sequence it did convert them, but each image still had the white surrounding it so I would also have to put it into Photoshop to remove the white on each frame. Do you have any other advice? I can convert the animation to a PNG sequence with all the animations intact but, I will have to use three programs to do it. You've been great help!

Oh I see.

If possible, try to use Graphics for animations if you don't need code. Always make sure that your animation is fully playable in the main timeline at author time.

About the video, check "Ignore stage color (generate alpha channel) and your video will be exported without the stage background color.

Also, resize your stage to the size of your character so you won't have to worry about trimming the exported images later.

I tried what you said JoaoCesar, but when I exported my files as a video it would play as a black screen. When i attempted to put in Adobe Media Encoder it simply failed. The file plays perfectly in .swf file, but Adobe Media Encoder does not accept .swf files. I have never had so much problems with Animate. Is there any other ways to export as a png sequence or is there any program that can turn a .swf movie into pngs of the frames of the movie?

I'm sorry about that.

Would you mind sharing one of the animations you have to convert so I can run a test here?

Here is a link to one of my simpler animations. If you can manage to get a png sequence that would be wonderful. I also send the .swf of the animation to show you how the animation is suppose to play out. Thanks.

Hi.

I would mysefl export as a video (File > Export > Export Video...) and then use Adobe Media Encoder to create the PNG sequence.

You won't lose quality exporting to a video file using this option. Also, this option is so powerful that you can even export content that uses AS3.

I am using Adobe Animate CC 2018 on Windows 10.
