Using an Xbox controller

I'd like to do some prototyping using flash, but it's important that the input is the same as the final product. Does anyone know how I'd go about hooking up a game controller's inputs through flash? I'm on a PC, so MS provides the drivers for their Xbox controller.

I would create a test movie that listens for all key down events, and take note of what they are as you press the buttons. This is assuming it will even work in the first place..

Using JoytoKey software available here: http://www.electracode.com/4/joy2key/JoyToKey%20English%20Version.htm

It will take keyboard commands and translate them to Joystick buttons that you assign.

You should be able to hook any USB Controller to your PC (there is an XBOX one) and test your games. I do it all the time with my PS2 to USB connection.
