Hi @analytical_fantasy5C57, could you please provide some additional details? How did you create this file and those objects? Or is it a template? What happens when you delete the points? Thank you!

Hi, those points appear to the left and above ANY selected object. They do not appear on canvas if the object is deselected in any view, including outline. You cannot select or delete those points. They only appear when an object is selected.

Thank you @analytical_fantasy5C57. Can you confirm that this is an original file? Not a template? They resemble anchor points that may have been inadvertently created and not deleted. Is this issue only occurring with this file, or is it also affecting other files?

Jess, this issue affects TEXT objects only. If text is part of the mixed group only one point per text object will appear. Dot's also change their position with scroll.

@jctremblay Thank you so much. I also was on the old Beta build and didn't realize it! I just double checked. And I am also seeing it in the Beta 30.1.65.
Thank you again @analytical_fantasy5C57 for reporting this!!

@Jess Telmanik, Newest Beta 30.1 109 is still affected by this. 😞 Same behavior. Text objects, when selected, a point appears to the left and above them.
