Community Beginner ,

I,ve been trying to export a project to a local file, and export results in an empty file of 1kb.

The only way the export works is if i export to desktop

And the same thing happens to my colleague who is working on a different computer.

I have contacted adobe help desk which lead to nothing. The problem started today. Last thursday was just fine

I need help ASAP

When I put video files in Adobe Media Encoder, it spits out 1KB files.

I've tried changing the encoding settings, but it is no use.

My SSD has have 175GB (C:) and 616 GB (D:) space, and the video file is only 500 MB.

I've searched the Adobe Support Community and found no helpful answer.

Some users seem to face the same issue but they remained unanswered.

This is so frustrating and annoying. I have not had this issue before and now, all of the sudden,

after the latest update, media encoder began to fail to render from after effects.

This alone is makes media encoder very useless, but now it is being even more pathetic by producing out garbage files.

I was desperate for help, but all these mishaps is forcing me to just look for another encoder software.

I am very doubtful that I will receive any answer, but if there is anyone who have a solution for this loathesome issue, please HELP me and others who are in need.

Thanks bro, even without Adobe's help so far, at least knowing I can render to the desktop without corrupting the file saved me yesterday.

I just updated from PP/ME/AE/Audition 23.0 to 23.1. I should'nt have!

I exported a 2-hours 6x 4k multicam view, took about 4 hours to export from Premiere Pro through Media Encoder 23.1. The export process went well, no errors whatsoever. I could see the temporary file size increase during those 4 hours (!). But when the export was finally over, the file was only 1 kb. Unreadable. Tried again on a different disk, with a smaller portion of the video, same result. No errors, just a 1 kb file and plenty of frustration, knowing that 23.1 is unusable and I'll just have to wait until the next STABLE update.

Adobe, PLEASE fix your stuff and STOP releasing bug-filled "updates"!

Workaround: Use English characters in the naming of your files. Fixed in Beta. Check it out.
