Premiere Pro Beta crashing every time I copy anything

Explorer ,
Sep 08, 2025 Sep 08, 2025

I just updated Beta to the most recent version (today) and every single time I try to copy something (command-c, or right click-copy) the program crashes without any dialogue message... though it seems I can copy items within the timeline but not in the project/file structure window.

I have tried restarting my computer, clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, and nothing is solving the issue. I'm in the middle of a big project and it's driving me bonkers.

Anyone else having this issue?

Same. If you copy from the project bin crash. Everytime. This is driving me insane.

Hi @PaperFortress @mjcerisano - I can reproduce this issue. I’ll check with the team and gather more information. Thank you for reporting it, and I’m sorry it disrupted your workflow.

I don't believe that you have ever been able to copy from the project panel and paste into a timeline.

It seems this is related to the new object masking.  If you disable masking do you still crash?

Thanks for the rersponse!

Sorry I didnt mean to copy in the project panel to the timeline, just copying any item in the project panel itself.

Object masking is not on... unless there is somethign I have to do to shut it off? It isn't activated in the timline and it is not applied to any clip.
