Thank you for reporting this issue. This is a known issue with using Premiere Pro on MacOS 15 - the text underline is not visible in that scenario - while the spellcheck still works - you can e.g. click on incorrect words to trigger the spell-correct menu.
We are already working on a solution to bring back the underline on OSX 15.

Best regards,
 Alexander

Thanks Alexander.

Strangely, this feature works well in version 25.0 and prior, under the same macOS.

Any idea on when the issue will be fixed? It has ben reported by a number of users for several weeks now. Perhaps it needs a higher priority.

LATEST

This issue was reported here back in June of 2025.

Adobe's techniciants have acknowledged the defect in this platform but, to date, the company has taken no action to resolve it.

It appears that Adobe does not care for its subcribers. No apology, no response, no solution. Just a bill to pay every month.

It's time to consider other software alternatives.
