How well would this integrate with a more powerful database, such as my SQL? How is the hosting integrated?

Hi fifi,

You can not host mySQL, Postgres or any other type of DB on business catalyst. You also can not run server side code that will talk to that database. Basically you're confined to using BC's module to perform all DB calls and and interaction with it.

Hi Mario,

Is there a way that I can Import CRM Extended content to a Company record? When I pull down a form with the extended fields as a CSV and fill that all in - then upload the filled in CSV - the info does not go onto the Company record but only to the Customer/Contact record. How can I get the same info to populate on the Company record as well as the Customer/Contact record?

Any direction will be greatly appreciated.

Any progress on this - We try to store company info on a central Company record e.g location but we cannot uplaod this data - are we doing something wrong ?

I have a similiar issue also. If you Add a CRM and add it to Company then insert the module update user details form your cannot use any CRM attached to the company which is still a user.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug.

Not a bug - an oversight - cant work with company details or list them or even list all of them to take out the spammers - major oversight by adobe programmers.... they also do not seem to care about fixing it either...

How do I close a case? In the case list cases always show as New. there is no way to know if the case has been closed or not.

Hi,

Access the case and hit "edit", you'll be able to select the status "closed" http://screencasteu.worldsecuresystems.com/AP/2013-08-13_1138.png

which should then be properly reflected in the case list: http://screencasteu.worldsecuresystems.com/AP/2013-08-13_1139.png
