Is there a limit set on outgoing emails?

Community Beginner ,

I have a client that usually sends out batches of ±20-30 emails to all their members of a home owners association. (up to 20 batches = ±500 emails in total)

After sending two batches of ±20-30 each they get this error message:

Task 'Kingswood HOA - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC6A) : 'Your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).  The server responded: 451 4.7.1 <END-OF-MESSAGE>: End-of-data rejected: user has temporarily exceeded the allowed mail recipient relays per day.  Please try again later.'

We cannot really let them use the built in email marketing function, as the messages differ from group to group and it is just not feasible to setup a campaign for each of these send batches.

What's the story on this?

PS:

And also.... I really struggle to know where to reach support these days.

Hi Casper,

The daily limit allowed through our SMTP is 500 emails a day and this can't be increased. Your client will have to use their ISP's SMTP server if this limit is unsatisfactory, however, they'll have a similar limit on their system.

Cheers,

I've finally managed to track down how the ticket submission for support works - not easy I tell you.  Waiting for them now.

I am getting this error even though my client has not sent a large amount of emails. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

SMTP Error: [451] 4.7.1 <END-OF-MESSAGE>: End-of-data rejected: user has temporarily exceeded the allowed mail recipient relays per day. Please try again later
