I received a spam Email though an online form on my BC hosted website. How can I prevent
people from sending spam by using forms?
Thank you.

Have you put a captcha on the form? Have you got the module_cc protection module to help on the form?

Do I really need this? I thought we have a really powerful "content access regulation system" that starts with a "G"
that even can handle data for an entire country as China ... making this world a "better and more safe place".

As Liam pointed out, you have to have some kind of protection. Captcha can help and at the very least use {module_cc} as that can stop spam submissions.
I don't follow your comment:
"I thought we have a really powerful 'content access regulation system' that starts with a 'G'
that even can handle data for an entire country as China ... making this world a 'better and more safe place'."

What ever China's firewall does and does not do has nothing to do with Adobe BC.
If you want to avoid spam you need to implement the anti spam measures on your website.

How about DNS monitoring? I had a couple of websites in the past and I noticed quite often DNS dropouts whenever there was a chance for a sales to come in.

Hi Liam,
can you elaborate on what the module_cc is? I'm not aware of this? I don't see it in the module reference list.....

gdavisdesign‌ - It's under web forms. Go to the webform that you want to add the module_cc to, then under "Misc" you'll see an item called Anti-bot Fraud Protection. When you look at the actual code inserted, you'll see it say module_ccsecurity which is the module Liam is referencing.
Here is a screenshot:

I thought "Anti-Bot Fraud protection" is enabled by default as I place any form in Adobe Muse via drag&drop? No?
This should be the case if it's strongly recommended to use " at the very least the {module_cc} as that can stop spam submissions. "
I was not aware that I need to activate or enable anything on the server backend side.
To be precise, there a are 4 different protection methods. From a web designer's point of view.
The less choices do exist, the better and easier. (Preferably without subscribing
to another third-party service to get another long hash code snippet I need to copy & paste into the widget panel.)
PS: The web forms are not listed on BC for sub-domains even though they have been labeled correctly.
Thank you.
