P: AI Noise reduction create color banding on ILCE-7R

  2. Platform and OS version: Windows 10 Pro
  3. Basic steps to reproduce the problem: Run AI Denoise at 50% on a Sony ILCE-7R raw file
  4. Expected result and actual result: Clean image / purple lines on right sides of the image

Interresting, its the same effect as with Fujifilm RAF files. I reported this P: X-T2 Fuji Files have small purple artifact at edge of image after Denoise also in June but until now there was no fix reported.

Updates for Camera Raw have been released.  The August  2023 updates contain a fix for this issue. 

If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by hitting [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your update to be available in your Creative Cloud app.

“The attachment's dsc00518.arw content type (image/ARW) does not match its file extension and has been removed.”

You'll need to use something like Dropbox (free) to upload a raw for others to download.
