Camera Raw 16.3 – Ps 25.7.0 – Entering Masking freezes application – Must Force Quit

ISSUE:
Camera Raw — When I go into Masking,
everything freezes. The only way out  is to Force Quit.

I've moved your post from Photoshop to Camera Raw.

Update your Mac OS.
Reset the Camera RAW preferences.
Try these two.

OS updates also include graphics driver updates.
Preference files can sometimes cause unstable operation.
