Camera Raw abruptly closes (in Bridge) when pressing Tilda key

Hi all!

Just wondering if you have a solution for this. When I open Camera Raw from Bridge and accidentally press the Tilda key (next to the left shift on my keyboard) Camera Raw closes without saving its progress. Very annoying when I'm working in series of multiple images and everything is lost.

The strange thing is that it doesn't happen when I open Camera Raw from Photoshop.

I work on a Macbook Pro and Mac Studio and it's the same for both devices. Regularly updated, also reinstalled everything to see if it would help, but... nothing!

Is it a shortcut?

This key is bugging me for about 2 years now. Somebody has the same issue and how to change it?

Versions of apps:

Camera Raw version is 16.2.0.1763

Bridge is version 14.0.3.200
Photoshop is 25.4.0

MacOS Ventura 13.3

That's strange.

On most keyboards the Tilde(~) key is just below the Esc key at the top left of the keyboard.

Ayway here on a MacBook Pro pressing the Tilde key in Camera Raw just produces the Alert sound that key is not doing anything, however pressing the Esc key does close Camera Raw.

It indeed does the exact thing as the ESC key, but it is on a very risky spot, next to shift (which I use a lot)

Are you using a keyboard other than English?

You are using a third party keyboard. What happens with the built-in keyboard?
