Does Camera Raw use Dark Channel Prior based image dehazing? Trying to better understand what is happening in the "black box" when making adjustments to images.

Hi!
Can you give us a little more information about the issue and possibly show us a screen shot of your image window and open panels? What version of Photoshop are you using? Walk us through the steps you are using? Is it a raw file or jpg file you are working on in Camera Raw?

One description of how Dehaze works is in an article Julieanne Kost wrote.
The Texture, Clarity, and Dehaze Sliders in Lightroom Classic
Those features work the same way in Camera Raw. Her article says:
The Dehaze technology is based on a physical model of how light is transmitted, and tries to estimate light that is lost due to absorption and scattering through the atmosphere.
I do not know if Adobe has published more technical detail than that about Dehaze.
