I have been testing the Lens Blur -Bokeh feature which I access in Camera Raw Reader. Can be very helpful to enhance images that have too deep DoF, etc. (esp APS-C, and IPhone images).
But I see some bad masking errors, that often introduce an unnatural pattern around the penumbra. It would be helpful to add tools to expand or constrict the blur mask. Or perhaps correct with an add/subtract brush tool.
When using a telephoto lens, there should normally be a creamy soft bokeh around the subjuct (if the background has sufficient distance) When adding bokeh in post, this typically requires careful masking. It would be helpful to see enhanced mask correction tools in a future iteration.
I typically use the Field Blur feature in post as it is not a permanent (destructive) alteration. But the Camera Raw option is usfeul, and would be excllent with masking improvment.
Some enhancements would also benefit the main masking feature in RAW reader. Its fairly robust as is. But the add/subtract could benefit with a softer brush tip when the brush tip it smallest.
