Sony Image Data Converter

Sony Image Data Converter opened and automatically associated with Adobe Photoshop.  But I cannot see how to associate the Sony ARW file type with Lightroom.  Any help out there?

    Tried that immediately.  Association was automatically with the Sony-supplied app "Image Data Converter".  But attempting to use both Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC fail.  Both seem to require plug-ins, which I can't figure how to get from Adobe.

    I might be wrong, but I don't think  you can associate  Lightroom that way. The Lightroom program does not open images. But rather, it opens a database. The way it displays images is through the database technology, and the way to associate an image with the database is to go through the import process in Lightroom.


    Jim, thanks again for your information and time.  I'll call Adobe during their regular business hours, and I'll post the corporate answer here (in case anyone else has the same questions).
